Vitiligo (Leukoderma)

Vitiligo (Leukoderma) is one of the skin disorders that can appear in any part of the skin, the most commonplace leucodermic presence is on the hands, face, and feet. Vitiligo (Leukoderma) is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system of the body works against the melanocytes. Melanocytes are the cells that produce melanin, melanin is responsible to give colour pigmentation to the skin. When the immune system kills the colour giving cells, that causes Vitiligo (Leukoderma). Vitiligo (Leukoderma) equally affects males and females. Initially, the leucodermic white patches appear tiny on the skin but it gradually spreads across the body over time. 

The symptoms of Vitiligo (Leukoderma) are white or pale patches on the skin itself.

When our body does not produce an ample amount of melanin in the body that causes Vitiligo (Leukoderma). These are a few causes of Vitiligo (Leukoderma) mentioned below-

First home remedy for Vitiligo (Leukoderma) treatment

Ingredients: Turmeric powder and mustard oil

First step: Take one spoon of turmeric powder and mix it with two spoons of mustard oil. 

Second step: Mix these two ingredients properly to make a fine paste.

Instructions: Apply this paste directly to the affected area 3 to 4 times a day for 20 minutes. Then rinse it off with normal water. 

 

Second home remedy for Vitiligo (Leukoderma) treatment

Ingredients: Walnuts and water

First step: Crush a few walnuts using a traditional crusher.

Second step: Take 2 spoons of crushed walnuts, add little water and make a fine paste

Instructions: Apply this paste directly on the affected skin 3 to 4 times a day and let it remain for 15 to 20 minutes and then wash it off with normal water.

 

Third home remedy for Vitiligo (Leukoderma) treatment

Ingredients: Neem leaves and honey

First step: Crush a few neem leaves using a traditional crusher to make a fine paste.

Second step: Strain the paste using a sieve, mix one spoon of honey into the sap of crushed neem leaves. Mix it well.

Instructions: Drink this mixture regularly three times a day.

 

Fourth home remedy for Vitiligo (Leukoderma) treatment

Ingredients: Neem leaves and buttermilk

First step: Crush a few neem leaves using a traditional crusher to make a fine paste.

Second step: Take 2 spoons of crushed neem leaves, and mix them with a spoon of buttermilk.

Instructions: Apply this paste directly on the affected spot of the skin 3 times a day to reduce the effect of Vitiligo (Leukoderma).

 

Fifth home remedy for Vitiligo (Leukoderma) treatment

Ingredients: Radish seeds and vinegar

First step: Take a handful amount of radish seeds and make a coarse powder of them.

Second step: Make a smooth paste of powder using a few amounts of vinegar.

Instructions: Apply this paste directly on the white patches for at least 20 to 30 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water.
